Commercial Project Accolades
Paul Spradley, Executive Vice President of Bobby Hebert’s Cajun Cannon – Ana Borden recently completed the bar design for Bobby Hebert’s Cajun Cannon restaurant
Ana Borden was brought on board to assist with the bar design, which is the focal point of the restaurant. Immediately, she proved herself as a competent and reliable resource. Ana was able to translate our ideas into a fixed form, while helping us negotiate around architectural and design obstacles. She coordinated with our contractor, subcontractors, and vendors to provide a complete and refined product within our limited time requirements. Ultimately we received a remarkable final product that blends seamlessly with the rest of our interior. There is no doubt we will be consulting Ana for future projects.
Craig M. Smith, AIA Associate Principal at RATIO Architects
Ana is a dedicated and focused project architect who was able to successfully execute a very complex and fast paced education project in her role as the project architect. The project team included a number of specialty engineering and equipment consultants that Ana coordinated and pushed towards a common design goal and schedule.
Ted Reichert Senior Project Manager at Berglund Construction
Ana and I worked together on a complex healthcare renovation project. Ana was reliable, knowledgeable, and thorough. In the fast paced construction industry it is key to have a design partner like Ana who knows the job and gets you answers and responses right away. I would definitely recommend her and look forward to working together on another project.
Mark Nichols, AIA Principal, Eckenhoff Saunders Architects
Ana served as Project Architect on two difficult healthcare renovation projects; Shriners Hospital for Children ICU and PACU Renovation, and LaRabida Childrens Hospital 2nd Floor Patient Unit Renovation. She provided both design and construction administration expertise in order to complete these projects successfully. Both clients appreciated her diligence and commitment toward completing the project on time and on budget.
Residential Project Accolades
Melissa Day, Complete Historic Renovation on Freret Street
Ana designed drawings for a complete remodel of our home. She has been wonderful to work with, meeting my husband and I at locations and times convenient for us, dealing with all of our personality quirks, and helping us realize which improvements would be the best investments. She helped us through the many hiccups, big and small, throughout the year-long project, made recommendations from lighting stores to contractors, and everything imaginable in-between. I could go on and on about how wonderful my experience working with her has been. I would highly recommend Ana and AMB2 Architects. Thank you for all you have done for us!
Denise E., Complete Historic Renovation and Addition in the Irish Channel
My project was a complete renovation and addition in a historic neighborhood. Ana’s exterior / interior architecture drawings and design recommendations resulted in a spectacularly beautiful and authentic final result. In particular, she assisted me in navigating the challenging layers of City regulation which delayed the project. This portion of the project included regular liaison with City Planners and Staff. Her attention to detail and ability to interpret and speak the language of city planners, engineers and architects was invaluable. I highly recommend Ana Batista Borden.
Andrea B., Addition in Old Metairie
in Old Metairie wrote about the conversation she had with a house guest in her newly renovated and cottage addition, “. . . and the guy could not believe that there was an addition on the house! I had to explain to him 3 times where the house used to end because he said it looks so seamless. Just another testament to your great work!”
